How I Met Joshua Survey

1. Where did you meet?
LDS Poquoson Chapel, in the hall at a singles dance April 29, 2005.

2. What was the first thought that went through your head when you met?
"He's cute! But I wonder how old he is since I'm not interested in younger guys." Lol. He looks young so I wasn't sure. Turned out he was 3 years older than me!

3. Do you remember what he/she was wearing?
A button up shirt in either blue or burgundy and khakis, that's what he always wears, lol.

4. Where was the first time you kissed this person?
He kissed me at YRC Theater hours after the movie had ended but we were still in the theater talking. We heard the janitors coming and I said, "We'd better go," then he kissed me. We got caught by the janitors though ;-)

5. How did he/she ask you out?
On AIM. We used to chat on AIM all of the time. He was talking about how after he's done with college he wants to focus on more important things in life. I asked him what exactly. He tried to skirt the question but then he asked if I'd like to see a movie with him. Later he said he wanted to do that in person but I "dragged it out of him." ...right....

6. Where did you go for your first date?
We went to Hillside Cinema and saw Over the Hedge. Then we went to Goodfella's and ordered fried mozzarella, salad, and soup. After that we went to the Gloucester Point beach and watched the jellyfish swim from the pier. He got me back home around 1am and said goodnight with a very friendly hug and insisted we must do this again soon :-)

7.How long did you know this person before you became a couple?
We were friends for a year before our first date, including several "group outings." Our first date went so well that we became exclusive immediately.

8. Has this person ever proposed to you?
Oh, yes!

9. Do you and this person have kids together?
Not yet.

10. Have you ever broken the law with this person?
Yes, many times. I've never had so many run ins with the cops until I was dating him! Lol. But it's usually trespassing and loitering that we get in trouble for, nothing too bad.

11. When was the first time you realized that you liked this person?
I thought he was cute when I met him but it was a few weeks later talking to him at church when I found out he loves cats. From that moment on my mentality was, "I want that one!" It took some time but I got him :-)

12. Do you trust this person?
You have to trust someone to marry them so of course!

13. Do you see your partner in your future?
For all eternity. We were sealed in the temple :-)

14. Whats the most expensive thing this person has given you?
His loyalty and making me top priority. That came at a huge price, one he shouldn't have had to pay, but some people are selfish!

15. What is one thing he/she does that gets on your nerves?
Not picking up after himself. Annoys the heck out of me!

16. What is the thing you do that gets on his/her nerves?
He absolutely hates it if I don't go to bed at the same time as him.

17. Where do you see each other in 15 years from now?
Happily married, him a teacher or administrator, me a mother, and living in a nice house here in Texas raising our family.
