My garden has grown! I have compact cucumbers, blackberries, strawberries, cherry tomatoes, baby watermelons, catnip, and blueberries (though the blueberries are far from producing fruit). So you see I've made very good use of my lovely patio!
You also see my money saving tricks. Why spend $40 on a huge planter when a rubbermaid tote costs $3.88. Simple drill in some drain holes, fill with dirt, and plant.
Same with the buckets (they only had lime green in stock, so the color wasn't intentional just cheap), 2 for a 3 dollars, simple drilling of drainage holes (which yes, I did myself, not Joshua), fill with dirt and plant.
The other planters were from the store 99 Cents Only. The white container came with my strawberry plants. The blue container you see a glimpse of I found at the garbage bin, yet it was perfectly fine. And the big planter my blackberry bush is planted within was a nice one from Walmart that my husband gifted to me as my "Easter Basket."

What a great and thrifty idea to use rubbermaid containers! Those do come in handy. All your plants are getting so big! I wish I had a patio. I really love plants.
You really are making a cute home for the two of you. I like it!
I love your idea for a patio garden. Mike and I will have to start one when we get married!
